Preply welcomes new CPO & CMO, and we’re excited.
Preply is growing, and it’s growing fast.
In the next year, we plan to hire 150–200 positions across Barcelona and Kyiv, two of the most bustling start-up scenes in Europe.
Here at Preply, we know that behind every great product, you need great people. We have an incredible team in place that we’re exceptionally proud of; a team that we look forward to building upon.
On that note, I’m thrilled to share two new hires: Josh Crossick joins the company as Chief Product Officer and Filippo Gallignani as Chief Marketing Officer.
Josh Crossick will manage our Product & Design teams. His strategic priorities will be focused on the enhancement of our mobile app, as well as Preply’s use of AI and machine learning. Pretty cool, right?
Josh has an impressive track record when it comes to product development. He joins us from letgo, the biggest and fastest-growing app to buy and sell locally. As CPO, Josh oversaw product, design, revenue, growth, and user safety. Before that, he spent 8+ years at Hotels.com, where he ultimately rose to VP of Product & Design.
We’re equally excited to have Filippo Gallignani on board. As CMO, he will prioritize sustainable growth, brand awareness, automation and data. Filippo will oversee performance marketing, SEO, inbound marketing, content, branding, CRM, social media, search and display advertising.
Filippo is a highly accomplished, data-driven marketer who is passionate about how technology has changed our lives. He joins us from Delivery Hero, an online food delivery service where he served as VP of Performance Marketing. Prior to that, he worked at Lynda.com (now known as LinkedIn Learning), where he was Marketing Director EMEA.
